Ann Casady lives and works in Portland, Maine. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a BFA in graphic design, Ann started her career in Cambridge as a graphic designer for Harvard University. From there she became a senior art director with Gill Fishman Associates, a nationally-recognized design firm specializing in corporate identities and branding for high-tech companies, universities, and cultural institutions. In Buffalo, she held senior art director positions with advertising agencies, Crowley Webb & Associates and The Wolf Group. In 2002, she received her MA in advertising design from Syracuse University. Ann was on the design department faculty at Daemen College and the State University of New York at Buffalo. These experiences lay the foundation for Casady Design. The Maine-based design studio works with non-profit, educational, and cultural organizations to provide a full range of communication and design services. The studio’s growing client list includes the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, a long-time client of 29 years; American Geriatrics Society; Architalx; Unitarian Universalists; Greater Portland Landmarks; Hope Acts; Scott Simons Architects; Buffalo State College among others.
Ann’s work has gained national recognition from Print Magazine; How Magazine; Graphic Design USA Design Awards; American Corporate Identity; CASE, the Hatch Awards of Boston; Art Directors Club of Boston; Printing Industry of America; National ADDY Awards; New England Museum Association; and the Professional Communicators of Western New York.
Casady Design is certified as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) by Maine DOT.
